Oggi accoglienza degli ospiti Mr. Tenzin Topdhen, Direttore del Museo del Tibet di Dharamsala e del suo collega Mr. Tenzin Khetsun (project officer and accountant).
Si apre, con questa giornata, una settimana intensa che vedrà coinvolte molte realtà istituzionali a Roma, Torino e Votigno di Canossa. Con l’impegno di altrettante figure istituzionali e Organismi attivi nel sostenere la causa del Tibet.
In particolare: a Roma, incontri con gli studenti e i professori del Dipartimento dell’Istituto Italiano di Studi Orientali dell’Università “Sapienza” di Roma e di due Licei: il Liceo Classico Pilo Albertelli e l’Istituto d’Istruzione Superiore Sante De Sanctis; il Convegno al Senato della Repubblica con importanti relatori istituzionali; l’incontro all’Istituto di Studi Buddhisti Samantabhadra. A Torino: la conferenza al Circolo dei Lettori, presso la Sala della Biblioteca e al Museo d’Arte Orientale (MAO). A Votigno di Canossa (Reggio mili) presso la Casa del Tibet.
Da tutti gli eventi, cui è dedicata una sezione con report e foto, verrà realizzato ampio materiale video che sarà incluso in questa landing page e resterà disponibile per tutte le persone interessate.
Il progetto, voluto da AREF International ETS, è stato finanziato dall’Unione Buddhista Italiana (UBI) ed è realizzato in collaborazione con: Associazione Italia Tibet, Comunità Tibetana in Italia, Museo d’Arte Orientale e Agenda Cultura Unione Buddhista Italiana di Torino, Free Tibet Onlus, Il Circolo dei lettori di Torino, Istituto Samantabhadra, La Casa del Tibet, Liceo Pilo Albertelli e ISS Gaetano De Sanctis.
Today we welcome Mr. Tenzin Topdhen, Director of the Tibet Museum in Dharamsala, and his colleague Mr. Tenzin Khetsun (project officer and accountant).
This marks the beginning of an intense week that will involve many institutional entities in Rome, Turin, and Votigno di Canossa. It will engage the commitment of numerous institutional figures and organizations active in supporting the cause of Tibet.
In details: in Rome, there will be meetings with students and professors from the Department of the Italian Institute of Oriental Studies at the University “Sapienza” of Rome and two high schools: the High School of Classical Studies Pilo Albertelli and the Higher Education Institute Gaetano De Sanctis; a conference at the Senate of the Republic with important institutional speakers; and a meeting at the Samantabhadra Institute of Buddhist Studies. In Turin: a conference at the Circle of Readers, in the Library Hall, and at the Museum of Oriental Art (MAO). In Votigno di Canossa (Reggio Emilia) at the House of Tibet.
From all these events, each of which will have a dedicated section with reports and photos, extensive video material will be produced, which will be included on this landing page and will remain available to all interested parties.
The project, initiated by AREF International ETS, has been financed by the Italian Buddhist Union (UBI) and is carried out in collaboration with: the Italy Tibet Association, the Tibetan Community in Italy, the Museum of Oriental Art, and Cultural Agenda of the Italian Buddhist Union in Turin, Free Tibet Onlus, the Circle of Readers in Turin, the Samantabhadra Institute, the House of Tibet, Lyceum Pilo Albertelli, and ISS Gaetano De Sanctis.
